THE PROCESS

  • 1. Let's Connect

Send me a message via my website, email or even slide into my DMs on social media to kick things off. Don’t forget to include the deets like when and where you are getting hitched, and any ideas you’ve got brewing.

We’ll schedule a relaxed chat - either in person, virtually or over the phone if you wish. We’ll chat about your love story, what makes you tick, and all of the must-haves for your dream ceremony. I’ll give you a run down about legalisation of marriage and some ideas of ceremony inclusions.

  • 2. Seal the Deal

Once you’ve decided i’m the celebrant for you - I’ll whip up a contract outlining what’s what. After you sign on the dotted line, a small deposit will secure your spot on my calendar.

  • 3. The Legal Stuff

At least 3 - 4 months prior to your big day, i’ll be getting in touch to meet up and complete what is called the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). I’ll guide you through what identity documents you need to bring.

The NOIM must be completed no later than one month prior to your wedding date.

  • 4. Get Creative

We’ll get down to the good stuff - crafting a ceremony that’s as unique as you two. I’ll ask you to complete a couples questionnaire to get all the goss on your relationship, and from heartfelt vows to quirky inclusions - i’ll piece together the perfect script.

  • 5. Practice Makes Perfect (optional)

If you fancy a run through of the ceremony, we can gather the crew for a rehearsal closer to the big day. It’s a chance to iron out any kinks and make sure everyone knows their cues. It’s also a chance to complete some final paperwork (Declaration of No Legal Impedement to Marriage) - but don’t worry, if a rehearsal isn’t your thing we can get this signed any time before the ceremony.

  • 6. Cue the Celebrations!

Your big day has finally arrived! I'm at your venue an hour early, getting everything set up and coordinating with other vendors to make sure it's all smooth sailing. Once the ceremony's done and you're officially hitched, you and your witnesses sign some documents and then we crank up the music and get the party started!
